Sleipner E120 unit has been delivered to the African Mining Services Ghana. The unit has been commissioned at Chirano site in April.  The training department of AMS was recently completed the Sleipner operator training. The training was held by Sleipner training supervisor Eric Owusu from Ghana. “Everything went perfect and the group was highly motivated”, says Eric.

The Training Superintendent Glenn Waller from AMS was surprised how easy the Sleipner was to use. “I was very impressed with the time Sleipner will save us in our mining areas and  how fast excavators can be moved for blasting by saving on track gear. Also the quick exiting from the pits in case of emergency is good add to the safety plans. These are some of the reasons that the Sleipner will save us money on maintenance and production time which will make it a welcome addition to our fleet”, says Glenn.
