Sleipner E120 unit has been delivered to VA Erzberg mine in Eisenerz, Austria.  This traditional iron ore  mine has purchased Sleipner Transport System for their new excavator to meet it‘s transporting needs.

”As the quality-targets at VA Erzberg need to be met by loading and hauling from different, sometimes very distant loading points at different benches, an efficient way to transport the hydraulic excavator between  the changing  loading points needed to be found. The SLEIPNER-system offers the flexibility to change loading/hauling points in a large open pit even in alpine topography in an efficient and safe way!“ Explains DI Eduard Ludescher, Operations assistant of VA Erzberg, for one of the reasons behind the decision to purchase Sleipner.

After the Sleipner operator training all were satisfied on the performance of Sleipner and even surprised how well Sleipner can operate in really tight curves and steep slopes. ”Many times people think that the truck-excavator- Sleipner combination is much more clumsy that it is in reality“, says the Sleipner training supervisor Ossi Kortesalmi.
